Catherine
I hold BSc (Hons) Forensic Chemistry, BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences and a PGDE in Chemistry and Balanced Sciences. I have taught Science to the 11-19 years age group and have also worked as an Analytical Chemist in the pharmaceutical industry.

I have over 15 years of experience of administration which also spans the NHS, Further Education, local Government entities, and smaller organisations. I am able to offer an extensive package of skills to your company.

I grew up in Barry, South Wales and attended Bryn Hafren Comprehensive School for Girls to the age of 16, followed by Archbishop McGrath RC Comprehensive School to 18. I began higher education with the Open University in 2001 and attended the University of Glamorgan.

Mario
I have over 12 years of experience in scientific research and research administration in a variety of settings, including Higher Education and Government Laboratory establishments, as well as experience at other government agencies. I am able to use these skills alongside Catherine to the benefit of your company.

I hold an MPhys in Astronomy with Physics (Cardiff) and a PhD in Heliospheric Physics (Aberystwyth). I spent six years as a post-doctoral researcher in both the USA and the UK, during which time I taught undergraduate modules and mentored PhD students. My main research is related to Space Weather, a role that takes me around the world for various meetings, conferences and collaborative works.any.

I grew up in Ebbw Vale, South Wales, attending Bishop Hedley RC High School. I studied my Masters Degree in Cardiff followed by my PhD in Aberystwyth.

When we aren’t working…

We live in South Wales with our two daughters, Rosa aged 6 and Eva, 4. We enjoy being outdoors and spend much of our free time with our respective extended families, mainly in Aberaeron and Ebbw Vale.
